Alice turned the music up louder as she sang above the music and danced down the stairs, the house was empty and Alice was planning another party, she couldn’t help herself and she didn’t really need an excuse she found. Walking to the table, where Alice had spread pages and pages of planning over.
Okay so Alice didn’t have to do it the long way it wouldn’t take her very long too put the entire thing together but she loved planning parties and setting them up and then of course there was Bella’s wardrobe okay she was getting better but Alice was fussy about what she wore.
Alice had been shopping that morning and had more clothes to put in Nessie and Bella’s wardrobe she hoped by now that Edward could dress himself, Alice’s bell like voice echoed around the empty house, she turned her head as she caught the scent of someone approaching , however she wasn’t bothered by it and kept singing.
Alice looked at the list in front of her, each of them would come she was sure of it and yes the pack were on the list it was only polite , Alice picked up the remote on the table and changed the song that was playing tapping her feet along to the beat.

Charon didn't have to be stealthily quiet. The music was too loud for anyone to hear over it, whatever was in the house had seen to that. He could advance with relative softness out of the forest though he avoided any method that would cause him to be too loud. He didn't watch as his step as carefully as he would say if he had been stalking a deer or an alcohol numbed human well, maybe not the alcoholic it was easy to stalk one of them, you just follow them and they occasionally turn around and make rude hand gestures and their aggressive temperaments flare a little, he'd been called all sorts of things, but that didn't matter, not while he could see their heart beating, feel it's vibrations he could smell the blood pumping in the man's heart as he played with the human a little.
He'd trip the human with a hissing, gnashing Darkness arm before pulling it back. The human thinking he may have seen something due to his over indulgence would throw a few inflammatory words at him and Alexi would feel even better about what he was about to do. He'd create shadows in the Darkness, moving shadows, they were easy, required next to no energy. They couldn't cause physical harm but they could terrify and Alexi liked his pretty to be slightly sober when he finished them off, they'd run, sweating and screaming and making noise they'd run for a light, but then one of his extra arms would whip upwards and knock the bulb out leaving the prey in darkness.
It was quick though, almost merciful, he'd wrap an arm round the man's thick alcohol soaked body and squeeze the head of the darkness arm would thrust it's way with power through the man's chest and find his heart and then consume it, Charon would then feed. He'd drink all of the blood he could find, he wasn't someone who was known to leave leftovers. Blame his lifestyle, he didn't know when his next meal was going to be or if he even was going to have a next one. He'd take the body and then using the darkness, break it into different smaller parts and then bury those small parts deep very deep, then cover the freshly disturbed earth with logs, pieces of wood.
He had learned enough lessons to know that you should for plan for any and all eventualities and he did. He usually buried the bodyparts so deep no scent could ever reach the surface, it was easy. With his meal still fresh he had much more power than normal and could create little creatures to do the work for him whilst he stood watch and made sure no one stumbled across the frankly incomprehensible scene.
Yet here was, very close to some synthetic light, his red eyes a little hurt by it's brightness, but the place was indeed lit up like a christmas tree and as he looked in the window slightly and quickly ducked down as he heard someone walking he swallowed silently. It was another vampire. Alexi had hoped to find a lonely human or two. But another vampire, one that didn't smell human, or of human blood, she felt oddly perfumey... A woman?
Another vampire... a woman vampire... a rather attractive smelling woman vampire.... Oh god. Oh dear. What did he do? did he just bust into the window? Powerless? Did he just knock on the door? What would that achieve? what was the proper protocol between vampires? did he have to fight them, he'd fought vampires before, they'd tried to hurt him with lights and he had to hide until they thought he was gone.. then he had sprang and killed them. The darkness had it's own odour, that only seemed noticeable when Alexi gathered it up into a form or a weapon the scent of the darkness was sweet, seductive... it implied beauty.
But he had no room to use his power as he sat crouched under the window sill and gulped raising his head just a little to look in and then quickly back down. He was right she was attractive, she hadn't seemed to see him but he could be wrong, moving silently and stealthily in black jeans and a black shirt and kissing his rosary beads for luck he ran and jumped through the window.
He immediately regretted the decision. His wide red eyes seeking an exit already but they rested on the small vampire in front of him. His eyes could only convey surprise, innocence and a little fear as he stood there stark still "I.... I....." he just looked from the window to the girl "I...."

Alice hummed softly as she stopped singing the sheet of paper in her small hand , looking at the door she sighed slightly , she loved being near jasper but at the moment that wasn’t happening , her short black hair stuck out in different directions yet none really touched her face unless she wanted it too.
At the sound of someone jumping through the window, Alice stood up her gold eyes fixing on the guy. Why didn’t he just use the door, she couldn’t see him doing anything bad, yet she was watching him very carefully.
Alice stood and walked towards the man... she corrected herself automatically... Vampire, Alice’s petit frame looked like it done no harm too anyone, Alice however was dangerous if she had to be though she preferred not to have to be.
Alice looked at him her hands by her sides her eyes fixed on him, she spoke softly her bell like voice ringing through the house “you could have knocked”, Alice was trying to decide what to do, she didn’t want a fight, it wasn’t that she couldn’t handle it, it was the fact that she wasn’t a big fan of fighting.
Alice picked up the remote from the table and pressed the off button turning off the blaring music with a simple press. Alice didn’t remove her eyes from the vampire though she could see no hostile idea’s coming into place yet.
Alice’s eyes flicked to the window a small frown on her lips , she’d get Emmet or jazz to get it fixed before Esme came home , she loved her “mother” and didn’t want her upset by a broken house .

Her walk was brisk and yet utterly effortless as she held onto the thin straps of the bags she carried in slender hands. A soft smile was spread across her pale face and she was well satisfied with the days shopping. She had gotten a new comforter for her and Carlisle's bed and she was eager to go and put it on. She thought the colors would go just wonderfully in the rather large room and even though she really didn't need to use the bed she still wanted the room to look nice. Esme Cullen pulled a pair of keys from her jacket pocket and unlocked the shiny black car that belonged to her beloved husband, Carlisle. He was currently away at a medical convention and he had left her his car to use while he was away. She took it because it smelled strongly of her Carlisle and that comforted her when he was gone.
She slide into the car, the feeling of the soft black leather was wonderful and she couldn't help the smile that spread across her face as the familiar scent of Carlisle overcame her senses. The dark haired woman quickly started the car and zoomed out of the parking lot. It wouldn't take her long to get back to Forks, seeing as she drove rather fast. The sleek black car sped along the road while Esme quietly hummed along to a song that was playing on the radio. She was soon pulling down the drive to her home and she wasn't surprised when she couldn't spot anyone in the house yet. Bella, Edward, and Renesmee were probably in that cute little cottage she had restored for them a while ago, Emmett and Jasper were probably out hunting and Carlisle was at a medical convention. She assumed that Alice was in the house as music blared forth.
She couldn't help but smile at her youngest, well to her, child was the most eccentric of all her children. She was always amused by Alice's parties, she did know how to set them up, and was always thrilled when her and Alice went shopping. Esme, Rosalie, and Alice were known for thier shopping trips and usually the back of one car would be full of clothes and such. She continued to hum as she got out of her car and suddenly the distinct sound of glass being broken caused her to pause. Was that a window! She flitted inside and her hands automatically fell to her hips, a rather stern look on her face. She was already imagining Emmett and Jasper rough housing in the house. She turned around the corner and spotted Alice. "Alice! Really you couldn't control Emmett enough to stop him from breaking...." She trailed off as her golden eyes strayed to another figure in the house. The scent drifted to her and she blinked a few times. "Oh, Hello" She said softly, a questioning glance being thrown towards Alice.

Alexi was suddenly very aware of his own immortality. Wait... did that make sense? His own mortality.. but he was immortal, so did that mean his immortal- he almost had to shake his head to clear his mind of the conundrum. Things could not possibly get worse. Trapped essentially in a room facing an incredibly beautiful vampire who though didn't look particularly malicious or angry still posed what he could only consider a considerable threat, there was bright light catching his face his dark hair, no shadows to pull up encase she attacked him and he almost began to shake as he realised just how truly badly he'd messed up. WHY?! WHY THE WINDOW?! WHAT COULD POSSESS YOU TO GO FOR THE WINDOW?! Was all his brain had to offer him, as if he was just going to pull an answer out of thin air, he didn't know what to do he shifted a little on his booted feet, pullin himself inward. Defensive. Safe. He didn't like the light but the way the girl's eyes were fixed on him, he almost felt that any decision he made, she'd be able to counter it. She seemed to know. He didn't like that. It made him more uncomfortable, he was on the very verge of shaking and bursting into a stuttering apology as the silence grew more tangible, the tension evermore physical. Alexi was so terrified, so very scared. He was wondering if it was obvious. His piercing red eyes were locked on the girl's golden ones. His black hair was slightly obscuring his face but it probably couldn't hide the tight lipped way with which he observed her. The fear that coursed through every pinprick of colour in those crimson coloured eyes. It must've been obvious, almost as obvious as the silence that seemed to follow his entrance.
He watched a thin, fragile hand move slightly as her eyes remained fixed on him, he watched the movement carefully and cautiously as she turned the music off, the remote being placed softly back in it's original position. She didn't seem scared, it only made Alexi worry more, his brain no good under pressure at the best of times began to rush to ever increasing degrees of fantasy. 'Did she have friends waiting?! Did she know who Alexi was?! Could she control light and hurt him?!' The darkness wouldn't let her hurt him, or move closer, he could turn the light out, he was fast, very fast, he'd turn the light out and hide or run. Or run and hide. Or hide and then run. Or fight. But probably run. He didn't want to fight, he wasn't angry... just scared. So very scared as the girl opened her pale lips and spoke in a calm, quiet but slightly annoyed voice as if a random intruder jumping through an expensive double glazed window was normal, maybe it was in these parts, maybe it was just a vampire thing. He didn't really know. "I...." he tried to speak, but it didn't work. It just didn't work his vocal chords had refused to accept that he could speak properly, "I.... I...." was he stuttering? or just repeating that same word over and over. Six times he had said it now and he wasn't getting any closer to preventing this girl from hurting him. Oh god he didn't want to be hurt. The darkness wouldn't let her hurt him. If she hurt him he would hurt her back and he was scarier than most vampires when he was hurt or cornered or angry. He could always run out of the window again into the forest. They'd find him. He'd look more suspicious. They'd hurt him more. But he'd be able to face them on his terms. They'd know their own way around the forest, what about the wolves would they try and hurt him? They would. Wolves didn't like Alexi but they hadn't seen him angry, when the darkness surrounded him.
He could run. He could break the light fitting and then run. He could just answer her questioning glance. That didn't seem like it would work. It wouldn't work at all. He was rushing from outcome to outcome trying his best to think of one that would work. One that would stop her from hurting him whilst also making sure that others wouldn't eventually find him and hurt him. Breaking the light fitting seemed like it would be the smartest idea, well maybe after he talked, or maybe he could just run. His mouth opened again, supple lips echoing at least a small part of the fear in his body, "I... I d-d-didn't m-m-mea-," his voice cut off, whether out of embaressment or just plain old agitation and anguish he couldn't really tell anymore. he did of course mean to break the window. If he didn't mean to break it why would he have done it. Of course he meant it. He realised that there was probably nothing he could possibly do to fix what he'd just done and nothing that he could possibly do to make the girl in front of him think he wasn't a complete idiot. His voice seemed to run again of it's own accord, it's stuttery monologue wavering slightly like a record that seemed to stick on parts and run free on others "I-I-I'm s-s-s-sorry.... I..." he shut up again.
The situation still wasn't getting any better, he was yet to wake up from the nightmare, he shivered slightly, very slightly but he knew that it was noticeable. He was shivering because he heard a car pull up in front of the house, he heard a door open and close. He heard walking, a woman. A vampire woman. Fuck. That certainly wasn't getting better, he watched the small pixie-like girl in front of him carefully. Was she a lesbian? he hadn't met a lesbian before, he knew they existed but he always considered them kind of well... not something he'd just meet. She didn't look like a lesbian. Her hair was short. But that just made her look more beautiful. He heard footsteps, a voice. He was shaking slightly. The voice didn't sound happy, it mentioned another name. Emmett. Was that a boy or a girl's name? he didn't know American terms very well, it was probably a boy's name. Was he the short girl's brother, he watched the woman walk in. Resplendent. Beautiful. Everything he should've expected. Her eyes blazed gold and suddenly it seemed breaking the light was becoming an increasingly attractive proposal.
He could break the light, form the darkness shell with it's gaping mouth of big black teeth and it's huge glowing eyes and it's long tendril like arms and he would be safe. They wouldn't hurt him. He couldn't detect any aggression from the stranger, but he wasn't sure. He didn't know what to do, he was scared. So very scared. She said hello He opened his mouth "H-h-h-....." and then closed it again cursing himself inwardly for the bad speech. He tried to speak again but then quickly went even more quiet, his eyes darting first to the light switch, to the fixture then to the window, considering his options his red eyes constantly moving, the shake in his body increasingly evident. He didn't want them to know he was scared but it was almost impossible to hide.
