REMEMBERING THE PAST
>>full name: Calliope Grace Roser
>>nicknames: Lee
>>date of birth: 7th May 1935
>>age: 76
>>date of change: 7th May 1941
>>occupation: n/a
>>hometown: Surrey, England
>>species: Vampire
>>abilities: She has all the usual vampire abilities, and also has the ability to influence how people feel about her. She can decide whether they like, hate, fall in love or are sick at the sight of her. However, this only works when they are within a certain range, and the feeling/s fade after a while when she is gone.
TRANSITIONING
>>height: 5â€2
>>weight: 98 lbs
>>hair: Her hair is naturally brown and curly, though she has dyed it red, and likes to straighten it.
>>eyes: Her eyes are a bright crimson when she has just fed. As the days go on, her eyes get darker from around the edges until they are pitch black, all the way through.
>>general appearance: Lee is almost perfectly proportioned- she was nearing full growth when she was changed. Her hair is a pink-red colour, and curly- however, when she has broken into a house with straighteners, she will straighten her hair. As she has dyed her hair red, she assumes that it will stay that way, what with her being a vampire and never growing, but she doesn’t know if that applies to hair. Her skin is the usual extreme white of vampires, and it sparkles in the sunlight. She is beautiful to humans, but her eyes are the red of carnivorous vampires. She dresses in a sensible fashion- jeans, jackets and generally sturdy clothes (minus shoes).
>>face claim: Ariana Grande
THE CHANGE
>>likes: Blood, socialising, other vampires, the thrill of stealing, playing with her food, poems, school, snow, people liking her naturally, messing with people’s feelings.
>>dislikes: Repulsive smells, not having a coven, being discovered breaking in, killing and not feeding, not having time, being told what to do, sunlight, people disliking her.
>>strengths: Appealing to people’s better nature, breaking, entering and stealing, running.
>>weaknesses: Human blood, unable to take things seriously, using her power too much.
>>habits/quirks: Biting her lip, fidgeting.
>>fears: That her creator finds her, never being part of a coven, turning 100 without finding a partner
>>secrets: She wants to be human, she likes to see how her old friends are doing.
>>personality: Lee is a cheeky, happy-go-lucky girl. It seems odd for a vampire, but she seems to have no cares in the world, and is unconcerned by the threat of the law. She travels by herself, despite her young transformation age, and hunts when she pleases- regarding that she doesn’t draw attention to herself. She wants to be part of a coven at her heart, but she doesn’t let it show, and convinces herself that she is better off without a coven tying her down, and all she ever wants is to be a nomad.
She does have her serious side, too. She understands that she mustn’t break the law- not for her sake, but for the human’s. She doesn’t want the human population to die out, and thinks that this is what would happen if vampires were exposed. After all, with no rules, why would any vampire care about publicity? She respects the Volturi for this- without them, she thinks, the vampire world would be hell.
However, she doesn’t let her serious worrying side show. She thinks that this is showing weakness- which is why she tries to make everyone like her upon them meeting, even if they do not matter to her- to try and hide her insecurities. She wants to be seen as a strong-willed, capable vampire; not the sappy vampire who checks up on her family and wants to be in a coven more than anything.
BEFORE THE BITE
>>mother: Iris Roser, deceased, housewife
>>father: Keith Roser, deceased, factory worker
>>siblings: Thalia Roser, 74, retired
>>other: Ophelia Roser, Calliope Roser (nieces)
William (creator)
>>history: Calliope was born in London, England, to a working class family. She was brought up with no education, but was taught to steal and beg while she was on the streets with her friends. Her mother had to stay at home and look after her younger sister, Thalia, so Lee was usually free to do what she wanted.
Her life was pretty simple- if you couldn’t beg money to get what you wanted, you stole it. Her mother often applied to charities for help, but they received none. Lee’s life was repetitive and she liked it like that.
On her sixteenth birthday, she went out with a group of her friends. They had managed, against all odds, to break into a wealthy household and get their hands on some alcohol. She was very tipsy and she had been curled up in an alleyway when William found her. He had been out hunting, and the screams of her friends woke her up. She cowered against the brick wall, hoping he wouldn’t notice her- but he did. He bit her, but decided to let her live, as he was so full, and something about her made him sympathetic.
Three days of excruciating pain later, she woke up, and he was gone. She knew that she wanted something to quench the ragged thirst, and humans smelled just right. But she had to be careful- she knew from the beginning- so she waited until nightfall.
Her life was as simple as it had been when she was human. She travelled the world, hunting, stealing, hunting again. She managed to work out that she could effect how someone felt towards her, and would often use that to her advantage. She avoided human contact, sometimes met with other vampires, but left them in peace. She had heard rumours about an extremely large coven, almost as big as the Volturi, in Forks, so she travelled there to see how they could be a permanent fixture.

>>did you read the rules? Indeedyroleplay sample:What was the point? Lee sighed as she contemplated hunting again. It was a usual routine- find a human, make them follow her, make them scared, eat them. But Lee was getting bored. Maybe...she could change her ways?
She laughed at the concept. Vampires were meant to hunt humans, she thought with a shudder- vampire was a hard word for her to even think. But it was true- it was the course of nature. If her kind didn’t keep the population in check, who knew how many humans there could be? Tens of millions? Thousand of millions?
So Lee bundled up her emotions and hunted. She picked out an attractive boy, about her age (the age she had been when she was changed, she corrected), and focused on his feelings towards her. The feelings built up and up and up until his head snapped towards hers. She gave him an angelic smile. She knew how she looked- a posed figure, shadowed, eyes dark, with a bubble of emptiness around her. Almost in a daze, he mumbled to his group of friends and detached himself from the gathering.
Lee smirked at a girl- presumably his girlfriend- who was glaring in disbelief after him. She gave the unfortunate girl a wave and took the hand of the boy. Overcome by his sudden feelings, he only felt the slightest shock at her ice-cold skin.
“I know why you came- and why you look at me like that,†Lee purred. “We can’t be. It’s not possible. What about her? Your friend?†She cradled his face gently, knowing that in less than a second, she could snap his neck.
“I don’t care about her,†he declared. “I saw you and it was- it was like, love at first sight. I can’t help what I feel.†Lee laughed and his face lit up at the musical sound.
“Oh, my dear boy... You might not be able to help it, but I can. I’ll leave a message for your girlfriend telling her that you loved her. It’ll be a comfort to her, after she finds your body,†she stated in a matter-of-fact voice. She watched the boy’s face turn white and covered his mouth so that they wouldn’t be able to hear the screams.
