Alright, so I have a plot in my mind involving my girl Fred. It’s a vague plot, and I have no fixed ending for it, or even any real conflict, but I figure it can be a collaborating project. So here’s the story so far:
In Scotland, when she was six years old, Fred was nearly killed by a vampire in the forest behind her house. Another vampire, a yellowed eyed man, saved her life and brought her home. Along the way home he told her stories about his life to calm her down, and Fred became adamant that this vampire was some sort of special guardian and that she wanted to go on adventures with him. She made him promise to come visit her again the next night but, for whatever reason, he didn’t. Fred desperately waited and searched for him for weeks, making her parents concerned. She went to therapists who told her that the man wasn’t real, and she fought them on it. For two years, she fought and waited, becoming convinced her guardian would only come when she needed saving. Until her parents died in a car accident. No guardian saved them. And then Fred was forced to face reality and realized there was no guardian, just like there was no Santa or fairies. She grew up into a regular teenage girl with no belief in vampires or the supernatural.
It’s at this point that I want Fred’s ‘guardian’ to find her again. Now, a lot of what can come next is up to whoever wants this man.
The only fixed aspects for him are two physical ones: he has yellow eyes, so he’s a vegetarian vampire, and he’s between the ages of 19-22. His body type, his hair colour, his name, his actual age (since he’s a vampire), his history are all up to whoever claims him. His personality is also free to be developed, and I only ask that he’s the kind of person who could never walk away from someone who’s in trouble (this being the reason why he saved Fred in the first place, as he was hunting the vampire who tried to kill her and who had killed many other children in the area). This could also be an ability, being able to sense when someone’s in danger.
The reason why he didn’t keep his promise is also free for development. Likewise, the reason for them meeting again, over twelve years later, has been set. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of him just passing through a city she happens to be visiting, something happens, Fred’s in trouble, and he saves her again. And from there… Who knows? Like I said, it’s not a very developed miniplot, but if it sounds like something you want to participate in, then volunteer as the guardian.
